How Does hot yoga relieve stress and Anxiety?
Emotional trauma – stress or anxiety in the workplace, a relationship breakdown, issues from childhood, grief from loss …. that trauma will be stored in your limbic system (the emotional brain) & 100% of the time, it will make you weaker, prevent you from moving as well as you could, or it could cause you pain.
An emotional trauma will eventually make it’s way to the surface generally as some kind of biomechanic fault. You may find yourself with sudden injury or possibly a recurring physical symptom:
* muscles that wont release
* loss of strength
* stiff fascia
* joint pain
* heightened sensitivity
Your first impulse may be to build your body strength but … it’s likely that the cause of recurring injury or pain lies somewhere deeper than the injured tissues themselves.
